Land claims are one of the key features that let you feel safe in open-world survival servers. Land claims are generally done with a command or a special tool, and these prevent players from griefing or raiding your hard-earned loot. Claims can generally be gained by using an in-game economy, trades, or by simply being active on the server as much as you can. This is one of the "must haves" for survival multiplayer servers.
